Biliary Stent
The ASTER Biliary Stent is designed for endoscopic placement in the bile duct to relieve biliary obstruction caused by benign or malignant conditions including strictures, stones, and compression from adjacent tissue. The stent maintains ductal patency and re-establishes the flow of bile from the liver to the duodenum.
Manufactured from medical-grade polyethylene or polyurethane, the stent features side holes for optimal bile drainage along its length. The flap configuration at each end ensures secure anchoring and prevents proximal or distal migration after placement.
Available in various French sizes and lengths for different anatomical requirements. Supplied sterile, single use only.
