The ASTER Silicone Double J Stent is manufactured from 100% medical-grade silicone, offering exceptional biocompatibility for patients who require ureteral stenting but may have sensitivity to polymer-based materials. Silicone's inherent flexibility makes this stent particularly well-suited for patients with tortuous or anatomically challenging ureters.

The double-pigtail design provides secure retention at both ends — within the renal pelvis and bladder — minimising the risk of migration. The silicone construction also reduces the risk of encrustation during the indwelling period and provides a smooth surface for patient comfort.

Supplied sterile in individual peel-open packaging. Single use only.
