Hydro Affinity Stent
The ASTER Hydro Affinity Stent features a proprietary hydrophilic surface coating that becomes slippery when wet, significantly reducing friction during insertion and removal. This low-friction surface eases the procedure for the clinician and greatly reduces patient discomfort, particularly in sensitive or narrow ureter anatomy.
The stent body is manufactured from a soft, flexible polymer with a double-pigtail configuration for reliable anatomical retention. The hydrophilic coating is bonded to the stent surface and does not peel or delaminate during the indwelling period.
Available in multiple French sizes and lengths. Supplied sterile, single use only.
