Suprapubic Drainage Catheter Set – Seldinger Technique
The ASTER Suprapubic Drainage Catheter Set using the Seldinger Technique is the least traumatic approach to suprapubic catheterisation. An initial needle puncture accesses the bladder, a guidewire is advanced through the needle, and the catheter is then threaded over the wire via a peel-away introducer sheath. This eliminates the need for direct trocar advancement through the abdominal wall, reducing tissue trauma and improving precision — especially valuable in patients with difficult anatomy.
