PCN Set Pigtail Catheter
The ASTER PCN Set Pigtail Catheter is a complete procedural kit for establishing percutaneous nephrostomy drainage. The set includes an 18G access needle, a stiff-shaft guidewire, a fascial dilator, and a pigtail drainage catheter — everything required to access the renal collecting system under ultrasound or fluoroscopic guidance in a single sterile tray.
The pigtail catheter features a self-retaining locking-loop mechanism that secures the coil within the renal pelvis once the safety suture is released. Multiple side holes distributed along the pigtail ensure reliable drainage even with partial occlusion. The catheter is fully radiopaque for imaging confirmation of positioning.
Supplied as a complete sterile procedural kit. Single use only.
