The ASTER Urethral Filiform Dilator is a thin, flexible-tipped instrument used for the initial passage through severe urethral strictures where conventional catheters or dilators cannot be advanced. The filiform tip navigates through the narrowest lumen, and the proximal threaded end accepts standard followers for progressive dilation.
Manufactured from durable medical-grade plastic, the filiform body is semi-rigid enough to guide confidently while remaining flexible enough to negotiate tortuous stricture anatomy. Available in spiral or straight tip configurations depending on clinical requirements.
