The ASTER Metal Straightener is a rigid stainless steel instrument used to introduce and guide catheters, dilators, and guidewires in a controlled, straight trajectory during percutaneous urological procedures. It prevents unwanted deflection during initial puncture and tract creation, particularly in PCNL and nephrostomy procedures.

The smooth inner channel accommodates standard guidewire and catheter diameters. The proximal hub provides a secure grip and facilitates directional control. Its robust construction withstands repeated autoclave sterilisation cycles without degradation.

Reusable — autoclavable. Supplied non-sterile for re-sterilisation prior to use.
