The ASTER Biopsy Needle is a precision-engineered cutting needle for percutaneous core tissue biopsy of solid organ lesions including the kidney, prostate, liver, and lymph nodes. The sharp, side-cutting notch design captures an intact, representative tissue core with each firing, providing adequate specimen volume for histopathological analysis.

The echogenic shaft maximises ultrasound visibility during needle advancement, enabling real-time tip tracking. The stylet-and-cannula design allows the inner stylet to be confirmed in position before the outer cutting cannula is advanced to take the sample. Available in both manual and compatible-with-biopsy-gun configurations.

Supplied sterile in individual peel-open packaging. Single use only.
